My Current Projects...
Just wanted to share what I've been up to since the beginning of summer

Greetings all,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my work. I appreciate your kind words and engagement. This summer has been really busy so far. I just wanted to share some of the projects I’ve been working on. Also, feel free to share what you’ve been up to.
I was elected Chair of the Board of Directors for Canopy Atlanta back in June. Canopy is an organization which supports community journalism in metro Atlanta, telling stories about the neighborhoods that shape the culture of our city.
Just signed a contract with the publisher for a book project I’m co-editing with my good friend Dr. Andrew Spieldenner
I was on a James Baldwin Fellowship panel at Auburn Avenue Library. This was through The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences.
I had the opportunity to participate in the Tin House Writing Workshop in Fiction and work with Deesha Philyaw
Started my second semester in the MFA program at Randolph College.
I’ve also been on the planning committee for the upcoming NLGJA: Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists Convention in Atlanta September 4th-7th.
Counter Narrative Project- I think most of you know that I’m the Founder and Executive Director of CNP, an organization that amplifies the voices and stories of Black queer men. We’ve had some incredible work happening this summer including launching a mini-grant for journalists and content creators and hosting a workshop series.
This summer has been productive, but more than the work, the community I’ve continued to build has been such a tremendous blessing. Thank you for sharing this journey with me.
